The Building Approval Company, purchases Townsville Building Certifiers, Regional Certification Group to get Townsville Building Faster

The Building Approval Company is delighted to announce its acquisition of Regional Certification Group. The purchase reflects significant investment in Townsville Building Approvals and Townsville Private Certification Services by The Building Approval Company and sees its existing Bohle Plains office expand its services.

Townsville Building Certifier, John Houghton, will continue to offer private building certification services with The Building Approval Company. Building Certifier, Ian Mills is planning to retire but will continue to work as a consultant to The Building Approval Company. Administrators Melanie Riley and Kay Coward will also be moving across to The Building Approval Company ensuring no interruption of service.

Location

The Regional Certification Group offices in Kirwan will close with staff moving to The Building Approval Companies existing office in Bohle Plains.

Ian Mills chose The Building Approval Company as he felt they were the best custodians of his legacy and he knew that the welfare of his clients, and staff, would be a top priority. The Building Approval Company offer the same integrity, honour and values as Regional Certification Group and have the intention to improve the service levels and customers experience.

The move sees the local Townsville team expand and as a group The Building Approval Company now has seven qualified Private Building Certifiers (Level 1, 2 and 3) resulting in many years of certification experience. It is this vast experience that provides solutions to any construction issue and ensures reliable advice.

Services

A belief in continued business investment, continued learning and high customer service standards has seen The Building Approval Company grow and support customers across Queensland. The move sees expanded services offered to Regional Certification Groups existing clients including:

  • Commerical and Industrial Building Certification Services
  • Town planning in house
  • Council meeting/involvement to mediate outcomes with council when required
  • Completion of all statutory forms
  • Full Access Consultancy services and an in-house SDA assessor offering a range of SDA services
